Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan paid a visit to the Czech capital,Prague, from Tuesday to Friday.
On Wednesday, Demoyan met atArmenia’s Embassy with representatives from the Armenian community of the CzechRepublic, to introduce the program of the events to be held in connection with 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
And on Friday, Hayk Demoyan and Memorial of Lidice Director Milouš Červencl signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the aforesaid Memorial.
Precise cooperation projects were discussed during the meeting that preceded the signing ceremony.
Also, the meeting participants placed flowers to the monument in memory of the 82 children who were killed inLidice, and toured the items displayed in the Memorial’s gallery and museum.
