Armenia is going to host Days of the Chinese culture. The event will be celebrated on October 24 – October 30, though the project is not yet finalized with the Embassy of China in Armenia. The program of events is currently being specified with the embassy. To mention, it’s not the first time that Armenia hosts Chinese culture days. Days of Chinese Culture in Armenia were held on November 18-22 2009. Chinese actors, artists and dancers performed in Armenia.
China is one of the first countries having established diplomatic relations with Armenia 20 years ago. Cooperation between the two countries is developing steadily. In addition, China hosted Days of Armenia within humanitarian cooperation. The opening of the Confucius Institute in Yerevan also played an important role in developing cultural ties.
