On Thursday the Ministry of Agriculture’s State Food Safety Service (SFSS) released a statement warning consumers against using Armenia’s biggest poultry factory-produced eggs.
The monitoring of eggs by SFSS employees revealed that September15-labeled eggs by the Yerevan Poultry Factory (YPF) did not meet the eggshell cleanness requirements, the white did not have the sufficient density, the yolk did not hold (it spread after breaking the egg), and there was odor indicating expiration.
