New Sculptures Installed at Cafesjian Art Center

We all remember the new sculpture  which was set up by the Cafesjian Art Center in Yerevan and brought forth various discussions among the Armenian society. A few days after it’s installment The Cafesjian Art Center continues to surprise it’s visitors with new and interesting sculptures.

On Thursday a new sculpture arrived at The Center, The Maid Rozi sculpture by American Marc Sijan, created in 2006. On Friday another untitled sculpture by Chinese sculptor Yue Minjun was set up. Minjun is well-known for his smiling figures.

Still another sculpture may especially attract the attention of tea-lovers, as the center has a sculpture the Tea Pavilion by a Portuguese Joana Vasconcelos. It is set up in the middle of the road and perfectly matches the area.
