PROVIDENCE (R.I.)–The following State and local candidates have distinguished themselves on issues of importance to the Rhode Island Armenian community. These candidates have demonstrated continued support for Armenian Genocide recognition and the right to self-determination of Nagorno-Karabagh. They have attended a range of community events including the annual commemoration at the Martyrs’ Monument and our flag raising programs, as well as interacting with our community at the ANC-RI’s “Meet the Candidates” picnic.
