Encouraged by the success of TEDxYerevan 2011 event – Becoming Young – held in fall 2011, TED has licensed the third TEDxYerevan for 2012. The theme for this year’s event is Embracing Change. The third TEDxYerevan event in Armenia will take place in September 29, 2012 at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan.
The theme for this year’s conference focuses on the discussion of change on various levels: individual, institutional and national – needed in the modern society, including Armenia, with a lookout for possible developments in the near future. The talks begin From apples, bionic architecture to spiral of silence to the collective storytelling – important messages are elaborated by the youngest members of the TEDx community in Armenia
TEDxYerevan 2012 is organized as an independent event without any affiliations with any organizations. The event is organized with the support of selected partners and sponsors, which have been approved by TED beforehand.
TEDxYerevan Advisory Board - has been selected to suggest and advice on TEDxYerevan Conference organization related issues.TEDxYerevan Advisory Board members change every year on rotation basis.
