Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has asked several top officials in charge of state procurement to resign in the wake of exposures made in the system by the president’s oversight service.
During the government session on Thursday, Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan reportedly suggested that the head of the Procurement Support Center and his deputes be dismissed. The head of the government backed the suggestion, saying that the officials will have to submit their resignations.
